What we do

Often what causes us emotional and mental distress is our view of self, our relationship with others and our perceived relationship with our community. At Acres of Hope, we use Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy to learn about our relationships with others and ourselves by engaging with horses in a real-time, tangible interaction. This insight allows us to see what needs reframed or reinforced.

One might also take a walk through the woods, sit in the shade with a cat or dog, pet a cow or feed a goat crackers enjoying all the fun of being on the farm.
